GROM USB Interface Question

Has anyone used the GROM USB interface? Does it go in easily? Does it work?

2008 328i with iDrive.

The above is cheaper an I think it has more features.
bluetooth streaming and bluetooth phone, usb and sd card playback
and another aux port. Read the thread from the beginning.
Also steering wheel controls.

All you need is power and to add the Most Bus connection.
Same thing for any of these type boxes there are three main
ones Desnison , Grom and the 12 volt power in the thread I listed.

Then program in the cdc player some have reported that this
step is not needed its just comes alive.

I have one of the 12 volt power ones its pretty good the only down
side is switching between sources is kind of awkward.

I had the Denison system for a Jag I had. I had a devil of a time finding someone to get into the Jag's system and activate the system to recognize it.
Will I need to do the same for the BMW, or will it just work?
