For a backroad/canyon cruiser, is the FSB a good finisher? I currently have the M3 control arms, PSS9s, 235/265 Michelin PSS, Meyle HD tie rods, and dinan rear upper shock mounts. The car feels fantastic on curvy canyon roads, but I feel like its missing a few final touches. My next mods were going to be the M3 rear control arms and e93 M3 front sway bar but now I’m not so sure after reading this thread...

One thing I feel the car lacks a bit is confidence going into a turn, and that might be due to the body roll. Not necessarily a bad thing, because it remains composed through the turn but it’s more of a “whoa, I made it through this turn” and not grin inducing. I wouldn’t mind tighter steering, especially on these super twisty roads.

Probably wouldn't change much, given it's only 10% stuffer than your stock bar, if I remember rightly. It really depends what springs you're running though. Chances are you'd also want to upgrade the rear bar, at least sightly

I have added the M3 cabrio front swaybar + M3 strut brace...
outcome is a much more balanced feeling, time to change the front shocks too as they are past their BB :-)

the rear is M3 20mm... a bit overkill I think... I have commented this on page no. 2 here

Ah, yes. I'm sure that front bar would help balance things a bit then, if your front springs are also stock.

My spreadsheet, as I home in on accurate results, is showing some fairly interesting things though; with more appropriate front springs, I think I won't need a front ARB upgrade at all... Time will tell!
