Anyone with meaty tires on XI?

Looking at going from 19s to 17s. I link the 19s but I think the comfort and aggressive look from 17s will be better. I was thinking about either doing something like Apex Arc 8 or Forgestar F14. I know they are overused but they do look very good and thats how I want my car to look.

Wondering what size everyone is running? Want to get the sidewall bubble and have the tires on the edge of the fender.

I was gonna go with a staggered setup so I can fit some wide ones in the back.

Why with awd? It will handle worse with those. Xi needs square to even be slightly balanced f/r, staggered gives you even worse understeer.

I like the wider tire from the rear.

Yep, 225/50ZR-17 on OEM rims, Bilstein OEM shocks and Eibach pro kit springs.

If I did it again I would get appropriate shocks/struts

+1.

Whatever you do, just make sure the diameters match f-r. That's also much easier with a square setup...

I run 19s with 235 in the front and 275s in the rear. They are within 1% of each other so it’s ok for the xi system. My car is also very low with no rubbing. But yes the ride is quite hard.
My car is a LCI which I believe has a slightly different fitment at the rear.
