BBS LM Outer Lip staining

Just picked up a used set of BBS LM's and am planning on doing a full diy refurb on them. The one thing that seems to be an issue is this stain that is across all 4 wheels, it appears to be from someone leaving a wheel cleaner on too long. I'm wondering if anyone knows a good way to remove the staining?

That looks like water spots from washing the wheel and never drying them. You could try wheel cleaner first. It should come out if not get a clay bar, the same ones you would use for detailing paint. If that doesn't work then you could get some aluminum wheel polish and a microfiber to hand polish it.

Thanks for the response! I'll give those ideas a try and see what happens.
