If you want to find out the cars options use an online Vinchecker
To actually read the VO from the car you need a cable and ncsexpert
contained in the standard tools suite first.
Recommend bimmergeeks cable for coding.
Downloads links for the software are at there website.

So basically you have to read it yourself from the car.

The VO that you are looking must come in a .xml directly from BMWTIS.

What module(s) failed programming?
What's the error?

There's a lot of information on how to get the VO from CAS or FRM and how to do an FA_write.

What if CAS and FRM are not communicating. That is the problem I am having after screwing up a total update. (bad idea, I know). I thought I could correct this with ISTA-P which I have been struggling to install, but now I'm not sure about that.

What modules are communicating?

It's unlikely you killed all modules. Maybe it's just the JBBF as this is a gateway to other modules.

Throw ISTA P in the bin and load up INPA. In the UIF show us which modules are communicating...
