I just got my 2009 328's valve cover gasket changed under the sulev warranty at Hendrick BMW northlake in Charlotte NC.

I scheduled my recall and when I went in I brought my 2009 BMW warranty manual :

https://www.bmwusa.com/explore/bmw-v...nty-books.html

and I brought this :

Did the dealer give you a hard time? I'm in the same situation. However, I had my VCG fixed out of pocket at the dealership 4 years ago, not knowing about the SULEV warranty. It's leaking again. I also paid to have the thermostat, and camshaft sensor repaired. That's also cover under the SULEV warranty. I have a 2008 E90. Thank you.

2008 BMW 328xi

I purchased a 2009 BMW 328i SULEV not knowing that it was an SULEV car.
I have replaced the DMTL pump three times and the charcoal canister once, kept getting a P1449 fault code.I keep getting fuel into the charcoal canister. The car has been in a shop for the last two weeks and no one can shed any light on what is causing this. Kuni BMW of Portland said that my car is not covered under the SULEV 15yr 150K warranty since it is in Oregon. If this is true that they want cover this except if you have your car registered in certain states then this will be the LAST BMW that I ever purchase. I am needing direction/HELP with someone who has experienced this same issue and how did you get the dealer to acknowledge and pay for these stupid repairs. Thanks

That's misdirected information. You should get in contact with BMW NA
