Good man one of these is vital IMO to keep some order within the N54 engine.

Steve! Not sure it will fit after the CP and BOV is in but nothing that a diy bracket can't sort

Nice one Shaun. Good purchase with the OCC. I've got the burger one which is a nice size.

And a sneak peek on my wheel refurb to. Complete split down, faces stripped and repainted. Lips fully sanded from 180grit up and mirror polished. Needed the 180 as pitting from previous owner was bad.

Here's me in action. First time with a gun. Previously only ever used cans. Never going back to cans. Gun is 100x better

So much effort has been going into this car over the last few months, it's unreal. Puts my progress to shame. All personal DIY work and not just a "give it to a company with an envelope full of cash" job.

Truly personal work. Massive respect bro, can't wait to see it with the pending work completed

This is excellent progress Shaun and superb that you're getting your hands dirty too. Always good to have accomplished it yourself.

Look forward to the finished pics.

Impressive, and that dedication is unreal. So much time spent without your car! It will pay off of course. You at Ungie's place in that photo? Really looking forward to seeing the finished product, and I think the wheel colour is going to look ace.

In a word Shaun..... Impressed. The bonnet looks awesome really does, I love a bit of blending and thst looks one question from me though concerns the lovely 1M bumper oddly enough....how has the fitting gone?

I know you like a bit of paint good to see you doning the gear and gettin stuck in.

Wheels look sweet. This is gonna be one sweet 3 when its all finished. Love it

For real. Its been a crazy period and has totally taken over all my free time...and space. But I'm getting there slowly! Thanks for the encouragement though. Looking forward to when we start out boot builds!

Very true Raj. This isn't a just a show car but my hobby so the more I can do on it my self is the happier I am!

Dome is superb yes. He really took his time on it to get it all right! I'm over the moon!
To be honest the gun is sooooo much simpler than cans. Much easier to control and get an even finish. Defo investing in one.

Yes Ess...lots of time without the car but all for good reason. remember Ungie has a full time job plus is planning his wedding due in the next couple of months so all for good understandable reasons! And yes that's at Ungie's place where I'm painting the wheels. he offered the opportunity for me to use his place to paint my wheels! How cool is that?!

Thanks Steve
This particular 1m bumper I would say is a no go area unless you have someone willing to do lots of fiber glass work. Its not an accurate enough fit and there were some quality issues. All of the above can be and were fixed to bring them up to standard but it is labour intensive.

Hopefully she back in once piece and wheels on this weekend...think this may stretch to next weekend though as I'm still sanding the remaining lips so not even started polishing them up as yet.

That front end is looking very very nice, and i'm sure it will be a stunner when finished. Bonus is that it is SGM, my favourite colour

Shame about the 1M bumper, they always seem to need a lot more work than advertised! It can't be that hard for someone to make a bumper that actually fits?

Anyways great work, it is enjoyable doing it yourself isn't it.
