Hello!
First post. I ordered my E90 335i on March 14th, entered production on March 19th, and the 800 number says it is expected to be completed on March 27th. Can't wait for it to arrive. |

Congrats! 6-8 weeks seems like a long time at first but it's gone surprisingly fast.

Just got off the phone with the people at BMW NA (since the automated status is BS on there) and it looks like my car is scheduled for completion on March 30th. I should have it in my hands last week of April/first week of May, excellent!!

Nice~ Looks like it is on schedule. Hopefully the wakes / waves are not gonna be too bad in Atlantic. Last week there were reports of 30+ft waves.....

Kev, we are in Southhampton, docked. Have you heard if we will be weather delayed?

He told me that a couple of the vessels that they underwrite are experiencing strong waves and are running behind in the Atlantic (they don't underwrite vehicle carriers though)

I saw it docked in Southampton as well. That side of the ocean is pretty calm right now.

For the past 2 weeks and up until this morning, the 800# said I was "In Transit." Today, it says it's "at the port awaiting a shipping vessel."
Anyone know if they recycle that line for when you arrive in the States? I'm figuring the stupid system is screwed up.

Mine took 8 days to leave port from "Transported to a port of exit"....The OC didn't change to En Route for 4 days until after Independence II sailed.

I ordered my E92 335i on March 18 and was told production would begin the first week of April. Hopefully I'll have my car in the early part of May!
