Hate to say it but that looks permanent. Is it possible a product was used on the dash (or door panel, for that matter) that might have caused this?
In the absence of a product being the culprit, I’m really not sure why the door panel contacting the dash would cause this...?

Not sure what caused it, both door panels have the identical faded outline. Don't think the door panel is even real leather so maybe ill try some vinyl dye/conditioner if I bugs me enough. Just one of those things that once you notice always annoys the hell of you.

Your panes are leather. You can tell because the armrest and the center insert area are stitched.
The discoloration is an issue that would bug most of us! It’s usually just an imprint of the dash and nothing more. It may be a product that was applied to the dash that caused this. Last edited by Serf27; 01-29-2021 at 09:59 AM.. |

I don't have this happening on my door.
Must have been one of those cheap old school ArmorAll products that made your dashboard look like someone oiled it up. Seems that your leather got discolored. Only way to cover that up permanently is to dye it. |

Well it's still finished leather, so leather specific cleaners and conditioners won't really do much. There is like a vinyl clear coating on top of the leather. Or polyurethane but I'm pretty sure car would use vinyl for more durability.
