Want to DI(M) the DIY
I wanna Do-It-Myself
Anybody in the San Francisco bay area with tools/space? Why? Well, currently, I am in grad school living in the basement of a home(not so bad) without the space, nor tools to do my own work(that's the bad part)....and I really want to learn how to do my own work. I am trying to get my hands dirty trying out the PE mod, but the non-weld version so zhu's Beer can PE mod. I figured that would be the appropriate place to start doing some modifications. +It's a cool opportunity to meet some local e90 heads ++Ill buy you a 12 pack, minus the four beers I need for the work |

I can appreciate where you're coming from, but I'm glad you don't represent the e90 community. I can only imagine your being an ass because you've had a bad morning.

Scratch that. I am the one who has had a bad morning - the car got broken into. Instead of attacking you back, I'll comment constructively..
You are correct in that I have no experience under my belt with a 335i, but maybe I should have been more clear. My first job was at a classic restoration shop in bodywork and fabrication. Since, I've kept myself active buying, building, and selling motorcycles. So again you're right, I lack experience, but I'm not incompetent, and I'm actively searching out ways to learn.
