Water Pump Coolant Inlet Pipe

Has anyone replaced the rubber portion on the inlet coolant line?

Do you think a dremel cutting blade will cut thru the stock clamp on the pipe?

Yes, actually just did this. The clamp on my 2007 was a spring type clamp and I was able to remove it with pliers. Note, it did not look like a spring clamp until closer observation as it did not have the raised ends like the one in the link you showed.
