extended lug bolts

If I run 5 mm spacer, do I still need extended lug bolts?

I ordered rims but may need to push them out just a tad. don't want to get extended lug bolts as that would require new wheel locks too.

What is the biggest spacer to not require the extended lug bolts?

Hi, I currently run 3mm spacer and I put 28mm bolts.
The standard factory bolts is 25mm.

But I still use the standard factory wheel locks.

Since we have 5 bolts on our wheel, just put 4 longer bolts and leave the standard wheel locks on it.
For you I recommend find the 30mm wheel bolts.

I think with 5mm spacer you should be fine with the above setup.

But if you go above 5mm,then you should get longer wheel locks and of course wheel bolts.

335i is going to have to be a substitute, since I got rid of the boxster.

I will never say a bad word about that car, but it most definitely is not a daily driver. Especially if you drive more than 15k miles per year in heavy traffic.

Wish I could have kept them both, but can't do that just yet.

Have to say though, this car was the ultimate compromise. I haven't posted any reviews, seems there have been enough, but let me tell you this new engine is unbelievable. As fast as the porsche in a straight line, and much more power in the mid range area. Obviously the porsche will out handle the bmw any day of the week, but after some time, I just couldn't justify the discomfort full time.

As to the silver m6 rims, they are just like oem, except where the oem have the darker gunmetal color, these are silver. If you check some of the m6 rim threads you will see the difference.

Don't forget to post pics of your car with the new rims. You will have the nicest m5 rims, as they are as concave as originals, which no one here has been abl to find. Good luck
