Pic Request: E9x running OEM M3 wheels

I have seen only 1 e92 and 1 e90 with these wheels on so far and it looked ABSOUTELY SICK! They were the OEM 260M wheels as pictured below on an M3:

The wheels on the 335i looked very aggressive considering they were true M3 fitment. I believe he just rolled his fenders and didn't have any rubbing issues. The tires looked very beefy and it gave the car a very nice stance considering they were 18" wheels.

What is everyones thoughts on these? I have been looking at the M3 forum and trying to find just the wheels and thinking of running a slightly smaller tire on my car.

I plan on going low on KW V2's and wondering if maybe the offset really is too much to run on E92's?

I think it would be something different and unique to do as you don't see this very often. I can't find the thread where this was pictured so if anybody has a pic to share please do so.

Also would appreciate some feedback, or comments on the setup idea.

Thanks

I think you have to change the tire size, The overall diameter of the M3 is to big for the non M cars.

+1. They run a 40 series tire. Way too much beef.

I'm going to bump this thread to get some opinions. I just mounted up the oem e9x m3 wheels and tires on my e92 335 and they look great. Only the rears rub so I'm trying to weigh my options here. I'd appreciate any input.

- Roll fenders, keep tires as is. Might not solve the problem not sure.
- Go 265/35 in the rears hoping the shorter sidewall fixes most of the rub. My concern here is that the front is still 245/40 so the front and rear tires will have different heights. Is this a big deal?
- Go 255/40 in the rears hoping a more narrow tire fixes the rub, might still be too wide.
- Go 245/40 in the rear. This would mean both front and rear would be the same size, not really crazy about that but I'm confident it would solve the rubbing.

When I changed mine to 265/35 tires in the rear, I was still rubbing on stock sports susp. You will diff need to roll the rear fenders.

I kinda figured rolling might be unavoidable. I do think that 245/40 would work though but I'd just lose all the meat in the rears. What are the specs of the oem M3 18 rears? 18x9.5 +?

18's might work, but 19/s would be real tough.

m3 wheels on non M look best because of chunky tyres with larger diameter, as they fill arches really good. Too bad putting them on non m car is not that good for suspension or gearbox.

Just to update my post, in the spirit of being economical and also not wanting to roll my fenders I had my shop swap the PS2s off the M3 18s and replace them with the stock 225/35/18 + 255/35/18 I had on the oem wheels. The result is no more rubbing, at all, on stock sport suspension. The short 35 series sidewall really helped as well as the slight, modest stretch going from 265s to 255s and 245s to 225s.

Just an FYI to anyone wanting to upgrade to M3 wheels.
