n54 head resurfacing

Does anyone know the limitations on resurfacing an n54 head? I already have the lower block resurfaced 8 thousandths but because I'm mating it to a head that came off a different block I need to know how bad the head can be warped.

I'd ask at a shop that did a lot of N54 rebuilding, like VAC in Philly or ABR in Houston. I found both places very friendly and willing to discuss issues. I had cylinder head work done at VAC

My head was resurfaced. I think they needed to take off 5 or 6 thousandths to straighten it which is fine.
