2011 LCI HID Fog lights

I have a nice kit sitting here from my many many many car trades and swaps.

Im reading online here, that I may or may not need a capacitor. I went ahead and bought the 4700UF 35 volt cap from Radio shack.

Should I

A- Try them without the cap and see if the work trouble free.
or
B- Go ahead and soldering in the cap and just prevent it all together?

My questions in addition are, if they were to be trouble free without the cap, will installing the capacitor cause any further issues?

How hot does this capacitor get?

The brand in question are "Innovited 35 watt slim line sealed" I had them on my bike, less than a year old, in perfect working condition and tested perfect on the bench.

If I DO add the capacitor, should I wire it into the bulb harness itself or do I need to wire it to the car harness. I am getting to creat a plug and play without stripping the wires in the car so Id like to know the proper way to do it. I have seen mixed reviews on this.

They need to be canbus in order to work on this car, unless your vehicle is coded.

So you mine as well wire them up but that doesn't mean they will necessary work.

We've tested dozens of ballast with HPB and not all of them were error free, even with error cancelors and being canbus.

That's why proven kits are more expensive but work 99% of the time.

If you want some peace of mind consider looking into the HPB (High performance bulbs) HID Kit.
