FS: Custom steering wheel
so i have a hartge style steering wheel for sale. i originally ordered two (one for myself and one for a friend) so now my friend backed out and doesnt want it anymore. below are pics of what mine looks like. the 2nd steering has already been reshaped but has not been covered with leather yet since my friend backed out so you will have a choice of leather (smooth or perforated or both) as well as your choice of stitching (any color). the original hartge steering wheels go for bout $2000 to $3000, see the links below to give you a rough idea on pricing. http://www.nyxracing.com/hartge-leat...8-p-59510.html http://www.turnermotorsport.com/html...CT_ID=32630565 the other company that offers custom steering wheels is EAS. however, it is considerably more expensive and you will have to send in your stock steering wheel (which mean u wont be able to drive for at least a week). http://www.europeanautosource.com/pr...oducts_id=1908 pricing : US$765 (shipped) note, this is for the steering wheel only with no airbag or multifunction buttons SOLD

and the price includes everything - your choice of leather and your choice of stitching and shipping as well.

no, you'd have to get the sport airbag since the non-sport does not have the same air bag as the sport. it would work with auto cars as long as you dont have paddles.

If its for an e92, then you DON'T need a sport airbag because YOU already have one!! ALL E92s come with sport steering wheel/airbag, and sport suspension.....when you get a sport package for the coupes its only the seats, increase the limiter, & wheels. Ok here another thing, does your airbag (round) look like the one posted in the pics? If so, then you DON'T need an extra airbag. How do i know all of this? Cuz i have non-sport package e92 328 and i bought a M3 steering wheel and installed it using my old airbag . One more thing I've seen the custom steering wheel in person and it looks effing AMAZING!!! Plus Chris (montreal_red) is a great guy, and trust me you won't regret it

I have a non sport package 2006 323i anyone with a non sport edition 323i can tell you how bad is the steering wheel feel, its like holding a piece of wood ..... I am not into fancy stuff of changing air bags, M3 tri-color wheel etc.. can you ask the shop see if they can put thick padding leather like the M3 wheels on an existing non sport wheel? I can send over the wheel if the price is right. thanks
