Whats Up guys, thanks for taking the time to check out my build thread. It's been quite the learning experience over the past 3 years and couldn't have done it without the helpful information here on e90post. I hope you enjoy the build as much as I do.
Phase 1: 05/2013

Second phase: 6/2013
My car needed new tires so instead of buying them I bought a full set of wheels with tires.

18" bbs LM reps
Led fogs
35% tints
Debadged
Weather tech floor mats

Third phase: 10/2013-11/2013

Although I had a daily I bought m3 reps with winter tires. Seller threw in a set of Dual cones as well. Also purchased rear window lip and trunk spoiler.

At this point I purchase my HPF catback exhaust with burnt titanium tips.

Phase 4: 5/2014

Next thing I bought were my AC forged 313 19" 3 piece wheels. Polished lip and faces. 19x11(ish?) 19x 10 or 9.5. At this moment i realized the car needed air ride. I didn't think H&r springs would make it sit the way I wanted and coilovers would be too low for me to drive on.

Phase 5: 8/2014-9/2014

I purchased a jb4, and traded black m3 winter wheels for oem wheels and a catch can. (Which I ended up getting the m3s back because he needed the OEM to trade his car in.)

Installed my DCI

Had my 3 piece ac forged 313 wheels powder coated jolly rancher red, barrels were coated black.

Phase 6: 12/2014-8/2015

12/26/15 Cat**** d*****pes - which brought me to
the realization my turbos were shot.

5/2015
Did my first set of plugs and coils
Painted my intake ducts.

6/2016
Took the car to the first big show. Put my real European plate from a German delivery my good friend gave me.

8/2015
Bought vrsf 5" intercooler.

Phase 7: 9/2015-12/2015

Style 67 19" e46 m3 wheels with 295/35/ Dunlop durezzas that came on my AC forged 313s.

Sold the m3 wheels in November for turbo install.

11/2015:
Purchased Vargas 2+ turbos 20T compressor wheels
Vrsf inlets
RB PCV

I wrapped my interior trim in alcantara

12/2015
Had my turbos, 5" FMIC, inlets and CP installed by M** Performance in Oceanside, Long Island, NY.

Had my canisters and coolant tank relocated.

Phase 8: 1/2016-6/2016

VMR 710s
Style 95s (came severely curbed, so I refinished them myself)
LCI trunk for conversion
LCI headlights for conversion
LCI Hood (came in terrible shape so I traded it for Lci outer tails)


2/2016-3/2016
Traded VMR 710s for e46 ZHP wheels, Audi s4 wheels, and Thule roofrack.

Sold e46 ZHP wheels and Audi wheels.

3/2016-4/2016
Began to assemble air ride parts and installation.

Purchased
Airlift mk5/6 gti front bags with e90 camber plates.
Custom bottom mounts for XI.
Airlift autopilot v2 1/4" lines
Dual VIAIR 444c compressors
5 gallon black steel tank. (Replaced for lightweight aluminum)

Made a custom wood floor from leftover wood that my parents had from their kitchen remodel

Phase 9: 6/2016-8/2016

I bagged it.


Did the whole bag installation myself other than the actual air springs/struts.

Once installed I got diamond quilted fabric and installed it in my trunk.

Currently I have added laminate flooring to the wood floor that I got from lumber liqui******. Cut it nicely and made a temporary insert for the floor. More to come for the trunk.

Bought another set of VMR 710s and flipped them, along with style 157s that I flipped as well.

Sold my LCI trunk and waiting for delivery on an LCI CSL trunk.

got a foam cannon.

attempted to fix a crashed mtech bumper I picked up.. Didn't go so well. Fun project regardless

Update:

New winter wheels (for now)
New floor matts

Hoping to buy another LCI CSL trunk, the one I ordered never came and I got a refund :

At this time I have LCI Headlights and oem bumper. Also have msport Lci but it's condition isn't great.

Need inner tailights, LCI CSL trunk and an Lci hood for conversion.

Update 12/2/16

Single Turbo!!

My vargas 2+ turbos have started smoking and leaking oil after only 2-2400 miles. so instead of going hybrid again, figured id do a single kit. I went with an on3 performance kit and it took 3 days to receive. MNC Performance in Oceanside, NY, will be taking care of the install as usual. ill post a thread about the kit and fitment once they update me.

I won a set of BRAUM racing seats as part of an instagram contest they were having. ill be selecting the color in the coming week and ill update once i receive them.

I ordered an LCI Msport bumper from European Motorsports Society. its being painted and shipped to me as we speak. ill update as well.

The Red AC forged 313 3 piece wheels finally sold! i also sold the ambit re02, bought a set of rotiform that i planned on redrilling to my car. however they ended up being traded for 220m which were traded for one of my favorite sets the style 95. which were on for about a week, then sold. I'm currently on the stockies with spacers and it looks pretty good.

And I enjoy every second of it. I didn't have all the money I've spent on it at once. So I've done it over 3.5 years. I also have added my mods to my insurance coverage. I like personalizing my cars.
