Confused about coding bluetooth streaming audio
Hi guys. I have read countless posts on the topic but still extremely confused.
My 2011 E82 has the BMW Professional head unit ($663) and Harmon Kardon ($688) and also a Combox ($6VC) in the trunk. Bluetooth phone calling is working fine however I'd like to get Bluetooth audio streaming (A2DP) working if possible. Does anyone know if that's possible through VO coding? Below is the list of codes in my FA trace file, if that help... Code:
E82_ #0910 &LWSW %0668 *UC93 $1CA $249 $2MR $2VB $319 $321 $337 $403 $423 $428 $430 $431 $459 $473 $481 $488 $494 $4AS $4NA $4NE $502 $521 $522 $534 $540 $563 $570 $639 $645 $663 $688 $693 $697 $6AA $6AB $6FL $6VC $704 $710 $760 $775 $823 $840 $845 $850 $853 $863 $876 $880 $8TL $8TN $9AA -B080 +KRAD

I'm 99% certain you can't have Bluetooth audio function on a non-iDrive car.

From what I know you could not get bluetooth audio streaming
with a Pro Radio even if you have a combox. I have seen a few posts lately that the newer pro radios allow this option but have not seen anything to verify it. Anybody know if this is true? It looks like they would build this into the new pro radios like almost everybody else does now aftermarket and OEM. Last edited by ctuna; 03-29-2017 at 02:53 PM.. |
