Go into INPA and look for your DME Information. Open INPA, select your chasis; select Engine (then sub select your MSV); then Click DME info. Then it will show you a page that looks like the attached (Indentification MSVxx). The very first line is the "BMW Part number" which should correspond to one of the "HW# - Program" listings under your "stock tunes" section in your Bimmerlabs project. Download it, use the .bat and be done. |

Ok thanks. I'm getting a 2fa4 code right now and I've been reading about others having similar issues putting them in like limp home mode or like 50hp. Will report after I reflash

For now, I'm flashing the stock tune. Waiting on a new manifold then attempting again. If the stock tune doesnt fix it, I will contact hassmachine

Tried to flash 2 stock tunes 7602220A.0pa.zip with ZB#8608328 and 8608332. Both do not work as it would not let me start the car, only cranking. I have checked via INPA that my BMW part number is indeed 7602220. Any idea whats going wrong?

This is not tune related. If it was dying with the 330i tune, it's a hardware issue. the 330i tune *is* a factory, unmodified tune.
it's possible the power class in your DME was changed from the default, but in that case you would also have a limp mode with the factory 328i tune. |

yes. and if you stick to the same hardware number (MI20S project ID), you don't actually have to re-flash the stock 0pa in order to use the stock tunes either. all the RSA delete does is allow you to flash unsigned tunes. you can flash stock and modified tunes with the RSA delete installed.

I plan to go back on the 330i tune and reflashing the rsa because it would atleast run the car. Also is it possible to get rid of the 2fa4 code? I have seen other posts of you saying its locked after 10 hours of runtime but some people manage to fix it via ncs expert? Will resetting 6bmot or cas in ncsexpert do anything? That is the program, it's not a tune. You have to flash a program, *and* the calibration. If you haven't flashed the calibration, it won't start because there's literally nothing there (the program flash erases everything). the RSA delete is just a program with the RSA security disabled.
