Does anyone actually like the vrsf exhaust?

I installed my vrsf street exhaust today and I'm very unimpressed. I know it's an exhaust but would it be to much to include a set of directions on where the mounts are supposed to go and what rubber hangers are still being used. It came with these 4 metal spacers that I guess are to lower the rear brace but didn't come with longer bolts to attach.

Oh and the drone. Seriously vrsf you make a street exhaust that drones. Do you really think people who buy this aren't running downpipes?

I’ve honestly never heard any good reviews on the exhaust. I think it’s more for performance than sound (because of the bigger exhaust diameter). I’m running Downpipes and soon putting in Jones resonators in place of my mufflers.

I like the sound of the vrsf street exhaust but was unimpressed with the drone it produced at low rpms. I bought a 3.5 inch resonator from vibrant performance and had a muffler shop weld it onto my mid pipe. This resonator took care of the drone and now I am very happy with how the exhaust sounds.

I just got mine three days ago. It's super quiet imo. Sounds pretty good and was a PITA to install but hey, it was $680

The drone is bullshit. I messaged them they said

"I f you're experiencing drone, please double check the gaskets and joints. There is minimal drone with this catback exhaust when properly installed."

Yeah it's installed correctly.

Yes, it is bullshit that it drones. You will need a resonator to take care of the drone such as this https://www.amazon.com/Vibrant-17970...rs=20385206011

Yes, I had a muffler shop install it on my mid pipe just like in that budget bimmers video. I wasn't happy at all with the drone it produced so I bought that resonator and it made a world of a difference of how it sounds.

The best way that I can describe how it sounds now is like running catless downpipes and stock exhaust. I am running bigger turbos so not sure if they muffle the sound more so than stock turbos, but the resonator definitely took care of the drone I had with catless downpipes.

A lot of aftermarket exhaust are thinner walled tubing and contributes to drone. I'm on Borla catback and Catted Cobb downpipes. Very nice purrs on cruise growls on WOT

I have the exhaust and there is no drone at all at any rpms.

Dang you should not even work on a car if you can't see where the mounts go and runner hangers.
I have vrsf exhaust and no drone and I know few other ppl with it and no drone at all as well.

Do you have catless downpipes? The drone was instantly noticeable coming from a catless downpipes and stock exhaust setup.

Yes I did have catless DP from vrsf as well, when I had my tweens and no drone at all. Also last year I went single turbo and no drone as well with the vrsf exhaust. I get compliments all the time on race night. It sounds really nice on full throttle. And when cruising it's pretty quiet.

Cool, maybe you aren't as sensitive to drone as the rest of us:

The street exhaust has mufflers, it should not drone. Some of us don't seem to know what drone is, I recall some thought doing golf T mod on stock exhaust causes it to drone, it doesn't. Face-palm
