while it does not, it will be the first thing the dealership will blame any suspension/steering wheel vibration issues on.
they will make you get them road forced balanced and blame your non RFTs. again this is what will happen at a dealer who wants to be an a-hole. i put aftermarket wheels on my car the day i got it. |

It won't void your warranty. I'm sure they can use it as an excuse if you have any issues in relation.

I bought the warranty =T *sigh
Wish I researched before. My friend had a 335i and didn't get the warranty. Got a bubble and destroyed the wheel and tire... run flats huh? lolz. Ended up paying like $800 for a new wheel and tire + mount balanced (runflats + oem wheel *shrug). I was scared I would end up in the same situation. That warranty could have got me a full set of VMR w/ stickies or 1/2 way to some nice BBS's. |

i wondered this also because i got wheels and tires installed then had some vibration issues, I didn't know if I could bring it to the dealer and "if" it was a suspension problem, they would replace it

According to my dealer it does. I took my car in for a jerkiness issue. Turns out the dealer is using my aftermarket wheels as the reason to void the warranty.
My new wheel setup is .1” diameter larger up front, .3” diameter larger in back. To them, that’s enough to put me on the hook for a $8900 repair bill. By the way, that same difference in diameter could also occur by running stock wheels with different (i.e. winter) tire set up. So be careful! |
