DP Fix for inspection

Hey guys I posted my downpipes for sale in hopes that someone will swap them for me for OEMs, but I been so busy with work and all my weekends are booked, I have no time to replace them. I'm wondering if someone has a DP Fix they can let me borrow for inspection

Thank you

You will not pass inspection with just Cobb. You Need DP Fix.

In MA you can pass. I did it two years and a few others have also.

Depends on your state's emissions.
Ma allows 1 not-ready code.

Yes, in MA you can pass with one not ready code. I did it before with my OFT, but then I got rid of the OFT

any graceful souls in here willing to let me borrow it?

It might be easier to just buy one from VRSF and then sell with the DPs when you sell them no? Just because they are a bitch to uninstall and reinstall (damn pins break sometimes)

BTW, anyone know if you can pass inspection with a Tune? I heard you had to uninstall it before inspection but wanted to make sure. I have Cobb stage 2.

You don't need OFT just BB Flash with Bav-tech cable or use MDH Android with k-line cable.

Passed inspection in NH with two tuned N54's.

Edited for throwing in letters in shit (brav-tech)

If anyone is willing to make the trip to Newton, I am a licensed state inspector and would like to also know if a N54 or N55 with DP would pass, I can do a "dummy" test (just like a real sticker but will not go in the system and will not give you a an actual windshield sticker) but it will atleast tell you if the vehicle passed emissions or not. You are allowed one readiness monitor to be "not ready" but a downpipe may trigger multiple "not ready" monitors

It will pass.

I've done it 2 times before I sold my car.
It's only one readiness. If I have the inspection report they leave in your car, I'll post a pic up.

Like Junnior said, it's 1 not-ready. I had a huge issue with my G35 with emissions and I got away with passing before having to go a check station.

Once you are flagged for the 2nd fail, it's harder to pass.

edit- don't have any old ones to post

So I recently went to get my new 335 an inspection. Already had jb4 installed and I changed to map 0 at the inspection station. Failed for obd2 readiness. Do you have to complete a drive cycle after you swap to map 0 in order to get obd2 readiness?

JB4 doesn't have a full pass-trough mode so you have to take it off. Then you have to check and make sure the rest of your monitors are ready.

You will pass on Map 0 if you've done the drive cycle. It takes forever for a couple of the monitors to set. For me, EVAP is always last, but I've passed multiple times on Map 0.

Can't switch at the station, you need to do the drive cycle, or drive around for a few days. I carry a code reader and after setting it to Map 0, do the drive cycle, then check for readiness. It's hard to do the drive cycle in one shot so it sometimes takes longer than people think (try driving 55mph on the hwy, people get angry). As soon as all monitors are ready, I take it in. Map 0 will pass, I have a JB4 and have passed 3 times now on Map 0.

Or if you're down for a drive to Southborough and want to slide into my DM's I'll tell you where I go, drive into the bay, he checks all of your lights and passes you 😏

If you have jb4, then want to get a sticker this is the process, even with Cobb or any tune on your n54 or n55.
1: uninstall tune
2: drive roughly 70 miles for monitors to reset
3: check monitors to be in the readiness state before inspection

EVAP is usually always last, it takes forever.

Pretty much what I tell my customers if we do any work on their vehicle that effects any emissions related monitors, drive it between 50-80 miles & you should be all set
