Pretty quick.

Put 80% pump fuel
Map1 jb4 17psi

A few half and 1 degree timing pulls.
Iats good
Afrs steady
Trims low 30s
Hpfp 1200
Lpfp x1 only 68psi always
Transmission shifts
Back tyres to big scrape on bumps and around corners when fast.

6266 pulled off after a drive. It was bloody hot but its time for big turbo.
7675 going on now.
Had to cut 10mm off turbo snout.
Just cut it and welded it.
Too hot to touch.

So I'm inside in AC..

Everything lines up so im hoping for a drive today.

Looks a bit better than small turbo.
Not sure if the bonnet closes yet.

Put most of it back on.

Still need to put pipe on from turbo to intercooler. Cut the engine cover a bit more.

Everything lined up the same as 6266 turbo.

Bonnet closes which is a bonus.

Ill get back to it tomorrow.

Photo of current stage.

Made a new 3 inch pipe from turbo to intercooler.
I am short 1 3 inch clamp so ive dodged up some tie wire.
Dont worry I doubled up the tie wire.

Waiting for the thread sealer to dry.
Suposed to take 24 hours to cure.

Went for a drive.

Goes allright.
More fun boosting around on the 6266 but this will be a bit quicker.

Yea might take 2 hours to change now. Then need to wait 24 hours for the npt thread sealer.

It took me about 8 hours to install the 7675.
Had to cut and weld the turbo and sortof made a pipe from turbo to intercooler. (The intercooler pipe fitted without fabrication different from 6266 pipe)

I did a run up to 150km and a few a bit slower and im not co.foryable doinf any more until I sort out a vibration I have got.

Had a vibration since getting the ad engineering diff axles and driveshaft.
It has been mild but it has gotten worse.

I have started by getting new tyres.
Checked rear brake disc with dial indicator. Both the face and the outside bit were 2 thou.
Front wheel face right 2 thou outside bit 8 thou
Frint wheel face 2 thou outside 10 thou
The actual rear left axle is visibly bent.
The diff pingion 2 thou.
The output if transmission 0 its perfect.(strange nitrated yolk)
Driveshaft 100mm from transmission 14 thou
Drive shaft 100mm from diff 24 thou

When its on blocks you can feel the vibration around 40-60km and on the road.

So im wondering if its the axle or driveshaft or both need replacing.

The driveshaft place in Melbourne said it should be 10thou or less. He is happy to fix it.

But I had a different drive shaft before and had the vibration.

Im off work now so ive got time to find what it is.

I had to dent the wheel arch to get the t4 flange low enough when I remade manifold.
The turbo does touch when I close the bonnet. Once it latches I can feel turbo touching the bonnet.
It might bubble the paint eventually.

Emailed DSS. "Axle wont cause vibration" was the response. After sendung them a video of axle wobling.

New front in the tyres has fixed vibration.
Now im back to tiny vibration under load.

Headed out for some logging.

Tried map 3 then 4.
Map 4 suposed to be 23psi.
All maps are around 2psi less than they are suposed to be. Map 4 makes 21psi.

Got the feeling I was chasing.
Fastest car has been.

Gets a good load of jet noises from the turbo now and a bit of vl turbo noises from 3krpm.

Still laggy but pulls pretty dam hard after 5000rpm.

So, DSS are saying having a bent axle isn't a problem. If a CV on the axle lets go at 130 mph, it will be interesting to see what they say about the possible results of that (like ripping the fuel tank open, fire and crashing). I certainly wouldn't go fast with a bent axle. But that is just me. Too risky.

Axle at the hub is near perfect 2 thou on the face 2 thou up and down. Thats with surface rust.

Its definitley made me feel uneasy. Last week winding up to 140km.

New tyres got rid of the vibration.
Ripped to 180km a few times today and felt fine.

I can now feel something minor vibrating. Most mounts are pretty stiff now so the whole car vibrates.

I would like nice straight axles. I might pull the left one and see iff it can be realigned. Its a bit of work to remove them, guide rods, trailing arms ect removed, pull dif cover hopefully not the diff.

Initially I wanted to pull the axle apart to make the i stall easier. I got the axles and I tried to undo the allen bolts on the axle with an allen key and spanner as a breaker bar. They were so tight I thought they would snap the bolt so I left them.

Not sure who else can make or fix axles like these.
Everything in the worlds shutting down Indefintley so I dont really want to send them to the US.
