Help!!! how to connect I-driver Controller and CID with CIC
My car(2010 318) have no connector for Controller and CID. can I connection like attachment pictrue? thanks! |

someone tell me,Controller and CID connect to JBE
But this is too much trouble,Have to tear down a lot of things... so I want connection like the picture,But I don't know whether this is feasible |

Hi Aaby,
i would like to help u, but i hope u will understand because my english may be bad, but anyway how to connect the idrive controller to youre cic, is very simple i gues u dint had any navi in youre car before,(as me in the past) so on the idrive controller u have a 4 pin connector where u will find 4 difirent colors, like black/red/mixed green with lil bit of orange collors /again mixed collor orange with with lil bit green color if i remember this have to be connect picture of the lil part of the idrive controller 4 pin connector Red collor : needs to be connect with power 12v Black collor : needs to be connected with with Ground and the 2 other wires mixxed had to be connected on two other wires i got 2 pictures where u can find where u have to connect the idrive controller, its in a big harnes full of wirring where u can find it just under youre driver seat like on this pictures to find where u can connect the cid connector is pretty dificult to explane it, what i can propose u is to add me on skype and i will help u how u can connect it, and later on u can post in this tread how u connected PM i will send u skypenaam |

Is this connection working in every bmw e90, mine from 2008. I bought an android screen and it has no plug for the idrive I bought optional (seller says it work with idrive). My idrive has a 4 pin connector.
I only have radio in the car from before. |

Did not work to do like this in my car. The car went nuts, a lot of noice, no lights and it should go to service it flashed in the display. What went wrong? Idrive was red so it has 12v and ground but the problem is the green/orange CAN cable.
Should it be about 5V in I think pin 11 (or pin 9) |
