Velore it's easy. Trust me, if you tried it, you won't screw up your car!

I was intimidated at first too... Shim talked me through it, with a couple of questions I had.

I still need to buy a few things to treat fabric cabrio tops. If your soon-to-be M3's top is in good shape, it doesn't need to be reconditioned. If the water doesn't bead by itself, then it has to be reconditioned with that roof treatment thing.

When and where is this going down?

Someone directed me to this thread from Bimmerfest. I ED'd my e90 and it just rolled off the boat in NJ so I'm not gonna have it in my driveway for a week or two (maybe more but hopefully not). Once I get it, I'd like to outsource a Zaino treatment.

I live in Vienna btw.

We're finalizing the logistics.

We're not sure on the date, but we are probably going to hold it at bavarian19's place, which is in Ashburn. We were thinking of mass wash/wax, but I think that's going to be hard. This is mostly going to be a demo session for total Zaino noobs.

I'm still trying to set up a schedule for individual details though. Loosely it's $55 without a claybar, $65 with, and I can come to your house (charge maybe a dollar or two for the gas, depending on where you live) or you can come to mine.

Basically:
Z7 wash
> claybar and rewash (optional)
> dry body, go crazy with my leafblower on the nooks and crannies, then dry the jambs
> Z6 spray/buff
> Z2 or Z5 with ZFX
> repeat 2x times

I only use MF towels and sheepskin mitts. Also, I'm no pro, hence the price lol

No interior treatment options as of yet. Maybe Donny can come up with something.

What's Vinylex? The Zaino leather stuff won't work for leatherette?

What about window treatments?

And customer's choice of interior scents...choose from a dazzling array of scents including Shim's Orange Orchard, E90 New Car Smell, bavarian19's Fresh Vanilla, KL2DC's Pine Fresh....

You don't really need window treatments. I use a leather chamois or damp MF towel to wipe down my windows. I could probably pick up something for windows, but I wouldn't charge for something that easy.

I posted on bimmerfest because someone was asking about Zaino treatments in the NOVA area... just bringing business in.

Ashburn - nice. I live in Ashburn so I'm definitely there for this one... let's get a date decided quick. I may be able to offer some newbie tips also.. for what they're worth... .

I can also loan an ounce or two of Z5 Pro out for anyone who wants to try it.

Yeah, if you do it once, you pretty much get the hang of it quickly. That's what's so great about the Zaino system.
