N52 Engine and 6L45E transmission from a 2009 E91 228i

Hi All,

I am selling the engine (N52) and the transmission (6L45E) from my E91 328i with all the accessories. This is an enthusiast owned and maintained car. The motor and transmission are currently still mated with all the belt accessories still installed. Once you put the manifold back on, it will be ready to swap into whatever you're working on. I am swapping a different motor in, there is nothing wrong with the engine/trans. Transmission had a recent drain and fill performed. I have an engine crane to help you load it. Both the engine and the transmission have 123K miles on them.

Here is a video of the drivetrain running hours before the swap was started:

The engine oil pan may be seeping. I can take care of that for you using the proper torque, gasket, bolts, etc. if that's a deal breaker for you, but I'd rather not.

I need to make room in the garage and so I am taking offers.

PS: I also parted out an entire E90 335i for this project (E91 N54 Swap). Let me know if you need any other parts too. I am located in upstate SC.

Here are some of what I still have.
->wood trim
->doors
-->door panels
-->rear bumper
-->navigation system
-->steering wheel
-->pedals
-->complete interior lining (ceiling, pillar linings etc.)
-->Sport seats (front and rear)
-->sunroof
-->dash
-->Glove box
-->Center council
-->Gear shift
-->rims
-->Motor mounts
-->front crash bar
-->E91 differential
-->E91 drive shaft
-->etc.

I am in the middle of this exact swap. So much extra stuff sitting around, hopefully someone local might be buying the black sport interior out of my donor, but not sure how I'll get rid of the motor. Not much demand for N52s

Did you get your swap finished and up and running?

The swap has been running for several months now. I have been on ~2000 mile roundtirp roadtrips with it and many smaller trips around the southeast. It is down right now while I wait on a wheel speed sensor.

Outstanding, I was just talking to the wife about doing a roadtrip to the tail of the dragon this october if this car seems solid.
