Cruise Control Help

I have a 2006 325i 6mt

My cruise control is currently in "Just for looks mode"

Tested with INPA and it is recognizing the clicks and movement of the stalk.

When trying to enable the cruise control nothing happens at all. No lights no errors nothing. I have tried enabling it in all gears at various speeds. As well as in different modes DTC, etc.

It is not a clutch sensor switch or brake switch error. Car starts only with clutch in and brakes are not constantly on.

Running through INPA my error codes that stay are
DME/DDE : CDAD
DSC: D35B

After doing some extensive thread searching the D35B error may be related to the YAW sensor. Thus not allowing the cruise control to be engaged.
But I would like to check this via INPA but I can not seem to find its exact testing location. I have found steering angle but not Yaw rate angle.

Right now I am thinking it is a faulty Yaw rate sensor. But wouldn't this sensor also control the adaptive headlights as well?

Any help please INPA experts!

DSC | F5 | F1 | F2 (Sensors); "DSC Drehrate" = DSC Yaw Rate; Top bar graph on Left Column. Obviously it should read 0 with vehicle stationary. I would presume a slow slalom should generate + & - values, although I have never tested mine.

That's the screen immediately following the one for the wheel speed sensors. From Main Menu, Select F5 (Status), then F1 (Analog), then F2 (Sensors).

You will probably need the TIS circuit diagram for your particular model. Here is a link to the DSC for the "later" 2006 325i -- if yours was built before March, 2006, then you need to select the earlier schematic:
https://www.newtis.info/tisv2/a/en/e...ol-dsc/eukxvG6

If you have NOT already done so, I would begin by checking the fuses supplying power to the DSC. Ever had a problem with water in the floor?

Please let us know what you find,
George
