Brake Fluid - GTA
Hello
I am looking for a good brake fluid for my 328. Are there any that you recommend and can be found in the GTA? Also, what are the specs required for brake fluid? |

Brake fluid from the dealer isn't expensive either, ~$25 including HST.
From what I've read, all E9x use "Dot 4 Low Viscosity" and most stores sell standard "Dot 4". It isn't essential to use the "Low Viscosity" fluid, but ABS performance would likely be impacted |

Damn, I wish I'd known that last week. I just did my brakes last weekend, and couldn't find low viscosity anywhere... Forum Link RameshB It will probably cost you ~$100 for a brake flush if you don't do it yourself. It isn't hard to do yourself, especially if you have an automatic and not a manual. A Motive Power Bleeder costs ~$150 and makes the job a lot easier. (Cheap way is to have a helper pump the brakes while you open the bleed screw) |

I recently did a brake flush on my M3 & I paid $95 at Paradigm in Markham. They used BMW fluid.

Hello,
Have you had any luck? If not, I get most of my work done in Newmarket. BMW Newmarket I've also used a mobile mechanic. He came right to my house, which was helpful, but it was for basic work, maybe not what you are looking for. |
