2008 e92 head lamps not working

Hi I am new here my e92 coupe suddenly has no headlamps all the other lights work fine. I assume all headlights would not usually pack up all at one time? when scanned it says that the head lamps made 3 attempts but nothing comes on. The angel eyes and side and tail lamps all work. I am hoping some one on the forum could give me a clue as to why they have stopped? Ian

This post might help: https://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1791100

It looks like they are controlled by the "Footwell Module", which could be the issue, or one or more of the fuses for that module could be blown.

Thank you for your reply, by Footwell module do you mean the fuse box? Or is there a seperate module? Both 40amp fuses in the fuse box are fine !

Footwell module is the light modules that controls lights and windows.
It’s behind the driver side kick panel.
Coincidence they both failed at the same time?
Can you reset frm counters?

Thanks for reply when a scanner was connected every code was reset
The lights just don’t come on although they seem to try momentarily if I unplug the headlamp and plug it back in again the bulb sort of flashes. Ian
