2008 328i bmw

Hello all, I have a 08 328i, I try to do all the work myself and usually get it done, but I started noticing it was having a hard time cranking, I tried to replace fuel pump and crank shaft sensor because I read it could be those two. Still no power at all, could it be the Crank shaft sensor or fuel pump?? Please help this is my dream car. I’m currently in Fayetteville North Carolina and willing to pay for a mechanic but if I can do it myself I will… where did I go wrong???

The starter causes it to have no power at all?

You said, hard time cranking. If its cranking, i see it as having power.

Need further explanation.

Could be a few things. The starter is a known failure item with slow cranking as a symptom. Also the braided ground strap that runs from the driver side engine mount to that body. The other items would be the DISA valves if you have a SULEV engine or a 3 stage intake. I found that both my valves had failed (no code) and replacing them resolved my odd slow crank.

It was probably the starter and when you replaced the crankshaft sensor and fuel pump, you probably did something incorrectly.

The first question is what codes are you getting? That is the only way to narrow things down.
