Anyone use Dent Wizards? UPDATED ON 04-12-2012

I have an appointment with one this Thursday and I was wondering if anyone has used them and what their experience was. I have two small dings on each side of the car, only noticeable when looking at the car at an angle, but I want to fix them nonetheless.

Thanks!

If no one responds be sure to let us know how it went. You can be the first to review them. Before and after pics would be great too.

I have used dent wizard 3 times... first 2 were perfect (mystique blue metallic 5 series), the 3rd time was good (alpine white 3 series), i think the color of the car helps...

I have a Space Grey... What you think?

Also, does it take long to repair? What exactly is it they do to fix the small dents?

I was only present for the 3rd dent repair, he uses a small instrument that looks like the eraser end of a pencil and gently taps it with a rubber hammer (forget what its called), while using a a reflective instrument that suctions on to the vehicle, then he rolls the window down and uses a tool to try and straighten the dent out..

My explanation is not great, but it gives you an idea.

As long as it's not on a crease I think it can be perfect...BMW metal is easy to work with from what I"m told. I even had one in the lower front corner of the driver door removed--even I thought that was impossible, because the door is very strong there and there is supposedly a rolled edge or something, they still fixed it! Not dent wizard but and indie who visits the dealership, free because I bought that protection pkg...

No. It's what's on your car. Those four small dings.

Ok guys, met with Dent Wizard today and I have to say it was a great experience.

My car had 4 dings, 1 on each door and 1 on each quarter panel. It took 2 guys approximately 5 minutes to get the job done. Unreal.

As for the results, it looks like the dings were never there.

As for the price, $150.

Highly recommend Dent Wizards.

My brother is in the pdr business. Results really depend on the skill of the person. My brother removed 50+ hail dings from my is300 and it is impossible to tell any work was done. He says the work is permanent.

i had an inci'dent' with my lemans blue 335 in FL where some one gave me a 'crater' of a door ding in the right rear quarter panel - took it to the stealership to see if they could help, they recommended a local body shop... who 'had a guy' who would be in on Thursday and could repair it 'good as new' for $125... looked into dent wizard and found they provided services to several local dealers and body shops, but also found a retail shop less than a block away from the body shop, and he said the same thing $125, except he'd do it on the spot in less than 1/2 hour...

the big thing that worked in my favor was that they guy who door dinged me had plastic edging on his door - the ding did not break the clear coat. I got the feeling that for 'dings' and 'dents' then dent wizard is an excellent choice - where scratches are involved - gotta find a good body shop that can match the paint color...

good luck!!!

the parking job

the crater

all better

I hope it looks as good 5 years from now...

I used them on the wife's previous kid hauler. She hit a Deer that about caved in the front fender. It was good enough for a lease turn in...otherwise I needed a new fender!!
