I don't think our diesels are even in the same league with the C63 or M3.
But hey, we got that low-end monster torque though!

C63's are no joke man. I raced my buddy's and we tied but he was in a gear too high and by cut it before he got into the upper rpm range. The one time we raced off the line I couldn't stop laughing because I lost so bad. In a straight line they are gnarly.

Haha agreed they aren't in the same league, but every once in a while we can beat one of them.. and that is always a great day! haha

The C63 is the only merc, next to a G-wagon (yes I know), I'd buy. Especially a black series.
If it's possible for us to increase our RPM to say 7-8k, while keeping torque, our cars will be pretty fast. Like, about 650-700hp fast lol.

Did anyone of us buy the 'd to keep up with a C63? I fail to see any comparison. The 'd is quick by just about any definition, but what makes it great is is that it is such a strong compromise of performance/efficiency. The C63 doesn't have an iota of efficiency in its formula. 10mpg? Not for me.

Actually to the gas pump we'd lose miserably. BY the gas pump we'd likely have a chance
