Cop control???

In my car's option list is mentioned code 8SP "Cop control". Does anybody know what the heck is this? Is there a small cop in my car who controls my driving?

This was asked a week or so ago

COP stands for "Coil on Plug"

Its the type of ignition system BMW uses where the coil actually sits ontop of each spark plug, instead of in a central firing box.

so COP control is the control unit for COP

Vary late reply to this. COP doesn't mean coil on plug (well, it might in some places, just not on a BMW). It's Conformity of Production, and is a production line code only.

Thanks. I was wondering what that meant, thought it might be some stealth anti-cop equipment lol.
