Where do you all keep your sunglasses?

I used to have a clip for the sunvisor in my E36 M3, but I didn't like indentation it left. Phone cradle and iPod will be in the armrest, so don't think there will be room there. Any other suggestions?

I generaly hook them around my ears and rest the other bit on my nose

I take it you have I drive. In the non-idrive cars, where the controller is missing, there is actually a nice storage area. My sunglasses sit in there along with my gate remotes.

When I am out at night, I out my sunglasses in the arm rest. I have a blank phone cradle, so they go there...or in the cup holder - AND I TURN IT OFF so I don't chill my already

sunglasses ;-)

I do say it's a pity the little holder by the drivers door is so small...

Do you have the ash tray? If you don't have the smoking package the ash tray becomes a sun glass compartment. Haven't tried it yet, still waiting for mine.

They really do supply these cars barebone in europe. Ashtray is standard in South Africa...

i put mine in the side pocket. there is three little grooves in there that make nice space for my other keys (first small pocket), wallet and eyeglasses (second pocket, biggest), and sunglasses for the last pocket.

As you might suspect I'm not smoking an thus doesn't need it

You also get a storage compartment in the back console, replacing the ashtray there.

Could you perhaps take a photo(or many photos) of them...so I can go ask to get mine changed???

yes, here in australia the non smokers package was an nco for the e36 and e46 but i couldn't find that option offered for the e90.

i may have gone that route if it was offered unless you maybe had to ask specifically for it and it would happen. i forgot to ask.

while it's winter, the sunglasses are in the glove box (compartment). i may leave them in the centre console during the better weather months or in the door pocket if they don't rattle around.

hey broken1 (and anyone else of course) for a psudo non smokers package, take the front ashtray insert out, pop it in the glove box and you have a small but useful closing compartment for say a small garage/gate remote control.

works for me - just. i also popped the cigarette lighter in the gb as well.

I'll post maaany pictures, just have to get the car first! It's a September production, but the beauty of that is that I can get the M-Sport steering wheel

I keep the hard case in the center console with the iPod. That is where the glasses live when I'm not wearing them.

To avoid the irritation of sungasses moving around in the door pocket, I first put them in their case, and then slot the case in the door pocket. So far, that works great... they don't move when I take off or break hard.

I am really missing the storage compartment under the CD player on my e46. So far I have been using the center console in the e90. But I don't appreciate the glasses moving around in the center console when I am going crazy hitting corners.

I started using the ash tray for my coins. The e90 doesn't have the coins tray and slots like the e46. I love the e90 but I miss my e46

Around the shifter. The ash tray is too small to put my glasses in there, plus it already has other keys that would scratch.
