Started off at Fabspeed to drop off BlackCat for a custom exhaust then headed over to Ferrari Maserati of Central NJ to check out what they had going on over there. Some pics from our voyage:

Hey guys

Me and Sal have known one another for about 3 years now. He is a good man and a good friend. I purchased my 335 from him and it was a great experience. I had not needed any work done by him, until recently. I gave up working on my 335 and let the professionals do it. My passenger front shock had a stripped stud on the actual strut. This was due to me putting on the wrong nut on the top of the shock. It upsets me that I paid Prestige BMW $214 to diagnose this problem, when I could of gone to AutoCouture and paid 50% of that to get the same diagnosis. Oh well, you live and you learn.

To make a long story short. I ordered a new shock from forum sponsors Tischer BMW (getbmwparts.com) and corresponding washers and nuts. They arrived the day after I ordered, as usual from Tischer, and I made an appointment with Sal to come by today and have it put on. While I was there, I was greeted to a nice TV and Sony PS3. Air Conditioning also was great. Plus they are dog friendly, and my dog was happy to feel the A/C from this harsh heat thanks to A/C. It took about an hour of work and it was a great experience! The car was put on the lift. I was asked what my torque preference for my lug nuts were, 88ft lbs, and I was shocked because techs usually just do what they want. I was pleasantly surprised and glad that I was asked. Its the little things like this that makes me trust and recommend a shop. Tom is a great tech. I am so glad that I had my car worked on by him today.

I would highly recommend A/C as a great place to get your car worked on and definitely a place that you can get your problems diagnosed. They are polite, kind, relaxed, and highly professional. I wish that there were more trustworthy and reasonable shops like A/C in this area.

Thanks for reading, and to the lads at AutoCouture, thank you very much for your work today. See you Friday for my oil change.

+1

I wish they were closer to me.

I guess it's better for my wallet that they are further though so I don't throw every dollar into my car.

I had springs done on my 535i (x-drive) which is a huge pain to do, but these guys did it for me and cheaper than most places.

She shop was great, people were great, and the cars were sick.
I love the E92 M3 project car!

I highly recommend their shop and will be going there for anything that's not warranty related.

As a mater of fact, I'll be there this Saturday with a few friends.
