ok, so you can only get codes scan if you get engine light on or if you have a piggyback pbx then maybe the codes might not come out????

reason i ask is that i get shakes at idle kinda of like a misfire but not engine lights...so do i need to scan for codes??

Yes, maybe you got codes, but nothing that would trigger a CEL.

It's been 3 weeks since the AA Tune and a little over 200 miles. Throttle response is crisp and my butt dyno definitely feels more power.

Two weeks after the tune, one of my coils failed. My check engine light came on and the car was running on 5 cylinders. Initially I thought it was due to the tune. Luckily it was not. I had the spark plugs and coils replaced. My car has never felt this powerful before. The tune is definitely worth it..

Glad you got your coil fixed! Enjoy your tune

We have done about 8 n52's this week and have received excellent feedback from all.

For anyone on the fence Go for it you wont be disappointed

Andrew,

Can you provide some details. Those that do a 3-stage intake manifold swap and get your tune, does AA adjust anything with the VANOS or just tinkers with the timing and afr?

Thanks

Here are the steps if you'd like to try it for yourself:
****Stay away from your break pedal!****
1. Insert fob into slot (if you have a key, turn it 2 clicks to the right)
2. Press Start/Stop Engine button (no break)
3. Depress gas pedal all the way down for ~30s (if you listen, you will hear adjustments)
4. Press Start/Stop Engine button (no break)
5. Release gas pedal.
6. Wait about 2 min
7. Start car

The reset also made the throttle response MUCH better (kinda like when i first got the AA tune). Hope this solves others problems as well
What? Is this in the Bentley service Manual or something?

Mark06 & Maximus

I installed AA tune about 2 month ago and I experienced the same symptom to Mark06 at 4K and 5K.
Did you manage to get this resolve?
