Houston meet - Aug 19th.. Sucess!!!

We managed to get 10 Ds together.. that's as rare as it gets.

A big thank you to all participants (BB_Cuda, 335stoner, Torqu3, Photoguy87, TheCastle, Zuke737, msauls, and others)

For whatever reason I cant upload pictures now, I will try again later.

Please upload your pictures here and lets do it again soon, perhaps we can reach out to folks in Dallas, Austin or other city/towns nearby.

2 Tasman green, 2 black, 3 gray m-sport, 1 silver, and one white. Another car came but he left before the photo shoot started. Thanks to DieselDemon for doing all the leg work to get us together. I got to connect faces and names with the "e90post personalities" of the other 9 people. This location is an old hang out for another car club I used to hang with.

I forgot to show you guys my aluminum transmission pan. They did see my suspension mods and exhaust. I explained where to cut to Stoner on a spare DPF about to go under the knife (and welder). Good times but 95F heat in H-town.

Could have been 12 but the one guy had his HB fail, and we forgot to reach out to one other guy in Houston. We're gonna do this again, and hopefully do a Central Texas meet. We could do at least 20 if everyone I know of makes it. It was really awesome. One of the few times you meet a group a strangers you met on the internet and they're all awesome.

Hoooper,
That weekend there are a couple meets outside our group planned.. one is in the Woodlands (big meet.. fancy cars) and one in Cypress (small meet... mostly muscle cars). I will be out of town Friday and Saturday but I will be back in town Sunday, I'm open to do a quick get together if any of the other guys want to, unfortunately Sundays are tougher because a lot of people do family stuff.

I really enjoyed the meet, and I'm not sure any of us can remember everyone's name.

But one of the highlights for me was being able to ride in BB_Cuda's 335d with the M3 suspension. He's inspired me to want to do something again to my car. Also the guy with the Ohlin's it was great to experience his setup. To me both are more confidence inspiring at least as a passenger than my Koni FSD setup. But the FSD is no slouch for the price. Makes me tempted to try ohlins or going full M3 depending on price.

I also got a chance to ride in a JR stage 2.8 car, with transmission tune. It make my JR stage 2 feel pokey ;-). It was a good time and its made me want to mod again.

Thank you Dan for pulling this together.

Anthony has the username Shade, but he says that account pretty much never gets used. George I snagged off of Facebook, don't think he has an account on here.

Cuda here. We are okay but was damn close to water in the home. Two family members staying with us as of last night and going to get two more as soon as the feeder roads go down enough way up in Cypress.

I recall a couple of you live up there. How is the surface streets off of 290 at west road? I'm concerned the feeder is still full. I need to go to neighborhood right off of Jack Rabbit road. Thanks

Family we have in Houston seems to have stayed dry literally by a couple inches. Water was up to the bottom of the 1 step to get into the house. Others in their neighborhood were not so luck.

Heres a main intersection in their neighborhood.
