How to disable passenger side occupancy sensor (set OC3_1 already)

I have pulled from my airbag module and changed the OC3_1 to nitch_aktiv but it will not be saved into the module once I load it back on. Once I clear airbag light it comes right back within 10 seconds.

I then will pull the options from the airbag module again and it is set back to aktiv again. I have disconnected the sensor as well under the seat. What am I doing wrong here?

Already had occupancy mat replaced 2 times by dealer under warranty and now this time I'm out of warranty and tired of dealing with it.

Car is 06 330i,
Thanks everyone!

If the coding is not saving, you are probably using the wrong profile/your profile is not setup for manipulation.

In addition to coding the OC3 sensor off, you need to disconnect the mat under the seat.

Then you can clear faults.

Keep in mind, if you have small children or passengers under 70lbs in the front seat, the airbag may kill them if it deploys.

Your risk.....

Got ya I will check my profile and make sure I am using the correct one. Thanks for the suggestion.

I have no kids and find it much more dangerous for the people I do drive around(adults) to not have a working airbag at all.....

Which profile did you use? I can't get this to save for me at all and I have recaro sporsters in my car. My NCSexpert just isn't saving my changes.
