Exclamation BEHOLD: The New McLaren GT (Yep, It's Sexy AF!)

Just wow.... McLaren is certainly NOT sleeping. Even though they have definitely reached a certain level of high success with multiple models.

This Grand Tourer will compete with the likes of Aston Martin DB11, Ferrari and Bentley!

Same. I like the 720s, but Macca trying to play in the GT game seems like Ferrari making an SUV. Oh...

For me, McLaren is about the pureness and rawness.

No way I'd pick one of these up before a 720s or 600LT but I'm sure there's a demographic out there that will...

Regardless, I hope they sell a ton...which funds R+D, expands their dealer network, leads to more reliability down the road and moves them away from being a PITA for maintenance which is my #1 concern with picking one up currently.

Agreed they are not nice looking cars and that goes for the interior. I don’t particularly like the 720S either...or the stories I have heard from the few people I know who have owned them.

Agree with others. Not particularly appealing. Would take a 570, 720, hiragana, aventador, or 488 over this for sure.

I like it. But its very much aston martin in a bit of a futuristic package.
But thats a good thing I guess, but it also shows that mcLaren still struggles with finding that "mcLaren" design lineage. They still dont have either the history or the vision to fit a design language to their brand. Some other young brands (like for example koenigsegg) do a better job in that.

Well after watching the videos...... I hate it even more.
This thing is going to be a flop. It's profile is absolutely hideous and those wheels and color are doing it no favors

Agreed. The wheels are horrible. Other colors help though.

I'm sure it is a blast to drive, but aesthetically, I'm not a fan of the Tesla like front end styling.

And speaking of the C8, (not thread jacking) but I see the similarities and I'm not loving either. The camo pics of the C8 look really badly proportioned to my eye....maybe it'll be better in the flesh.

I'm going to join the pile on -- i don't like it. Looks slab sided.

McLarens are just ugly cars. They don't know how to make a good looking car, which is ironic because the F1 was close to perfect. They topped themselves with the Senna, which looks like a modern day Consulier.
