Pricing on 335is; Advice Needed/Appreciated

Forum members,

I'm presently looking to upgrade from a 328i to a 335is. My question for members who have bought a CPO 335is or anyone who is knowledgeable, when do the next production years lease-returns begin coming into these dealerships? I'm trying to negotiate with these dealerships in saying that any 2011 models they have in possession will likely be difficult to sell after the holiday season, seeing as 2012 model 335is will be brought in. Furthermore, on almost all the 2011 models, the manufacturer warranty will be expired within 12 months of possession.

To me, it seems outrageous for BMW dealers to be asking for 38-43k for a 2011 model vehicle. Is it unreasonable for me to think that I should be able to get into one of these for 31-35K at this point in time?

Thank you for reading!

Nov/Dec is the best time to buy. The dealer/ seller can ask whatever price they want.It might sit there for 2-3 months until some one buys it or they lower the price.
Its a waiting game.
Do you buy there asking price, or do you wait for them to drop there price.
I have not found many dealer that want to change the price by more then 500-$1000 when you ask, even if it makes sense.

Yea, I realize California is a decent place to get BMW(significant competition). My big issue there is the shipping costs. Also, I'm trying to get it under 40K miles.
