Gotta agree man, he acted like a complete ass on Sat, it's bad for the sport overall. We NEEED Fedor to put him in his place.

Is the same happens with the Serial-to-USB drivers?

( I wonder why Shiv's insisting in using a serial over a USB plug in the Procede)

Because the seriell interface is part of the ECU. For USB an additionnal chip would be needet on the board and FW adjustements and User SW changes and and and and...

Another question; Can I use the 5-29 NonDoomsday-maps with the latest BMW-software?
I have no warranty so I dont care about the tuner invisibility feature.

So the only difference between a Doomsday-map and a NonDoomsday-map is the tuner invisibility feature?
Correct or not?

Making them tuner invisible results in less peak torque. HP numbers are supposed to be close with either map.

In a nutshell: the Doomsday maps are slightly less aggressive in the area(s) that would potentially cause a tuner code to be thrown. And thus.. the nonDoomsday maps are slightly more aggressive in those area(s). That being said, a few people tried to trip the code by running nonDoomsday maps, but couldn't trip it!

If you don't care about throwing the code, run nonDoomsday.
