'10 E90 LCI M-sport 335i N54. No sec. Cats, No resonator Exhaust

So deleted my secondary cats today along y having my resonator deleted. This setup sounds amazing! Like a E92 but louder, and the sound on a AUTO between the shifts is amazing!
No x-pipe where the resonator was removed, divorced the piping there with individual straight pipes. And just straight pipes where the secondary cats were.
No drone what so ever, almost stock like cruising around town. When you open it up, its a nice and deep N54 sound! no rasp, just perfect!!!
I have heard alot of exhaust setups, aftermarket and such, but i cant explain how happy i am with the overall setup of this exhaust, with sound and price. There is nothing that can beat it. Plus i def feel some power improvement and the car is def spooling quicker i feel!

***********VIDEOS..................

Cold start and a few low revs (camera isnt great but gets a overall idea):

Outside WOT drive-by:

PICTURES:

Secondary cat delete, straight pipe

Resonator delete, straight pipe. Dont mind the black exhaught soot, it was from a small hole that got welded up.

Overall look of a stock E90 exhaust and what i took off.

Does the resonator rob you of power on the e90? or is it just to keep the cabin quiet?

The resonator is what made my exhaust tone/note the loudest.
Removing the secondary cats, didnt make the car very much louder, but it did increase the sound of the N54 exhaust note over what it already was, made it more pronounced. Really hate that BMW even put a resonator on the E90's, im so happy that POS it out. Loved my E92 exhaust with just the x-pipe.
Def felt some tq and power increase from removing the resonator.

Cabin didnt get any louder really, maybe a tad from what i can tell.
Inside just driving on the highway and such, i have 100% no drone what so ever.

This is what every E90 owner should do, for under 200 bucks, there no better exhaust option you can do.

Its not and if your saying its loud, its not at ALL. Its a little louder than my stock E92 335i exhaust was with golf tee mod. Its perfect.

I had downpipes on my 135i, didn't think it was particularly loud at cruise with stock exhaust.

The 335i E90 feels like a muted luxury sedan, it had some semblance of an exhaust note once I put the downpipes in. Otherwise, it's so quiet. I don't care either way as long as it doesn't either sound like a fart can or drone at cruise. I just want more power!

I'm sure they do realize that twice less piping and with out 2 mufflers that system shouldn't cost more than $800 though, but there will be the HPF and BMW tax

great news, yeah i think i should take your advice and remove it all in 1 go so that way, when i reinstall it a few years later, there won't be that many welds on it...

do you think the dealer will hassle you for taking out the cats? especially on a lease...

i really do love the sound though so get more videos today! preferably outside vids.

does your car now sound like this e92? with all the sexy burbling.

Yup, get rid of the secondary cats and resonator. Car def spools up faster, lag has been minimized for SURE. DDef get some more kick aswell that i can feel. Worth every penny, and now my car can be heard like it has some kind of power!

Def do both at once. I bought a used stock exhaust for 120 bucks! So if i got warranty issues or wanna return/sell the car, bolt the stock exhaust back up!
posting video now!

^ for the money, that sound track is pure sex! i always loved the sound our stock mufflers make, its just that the resonators and secondary cats are restricting the sound. Its perfect now with stock mufflers and straight pipes from the downpipe back.

do you still have the golf tee mod done in that WOT video?

Yup, im so happy with the sound i cant explain, esp for the price! Its that perfect N54 deep sound with no rasp or drone!!! Plus i feel it opened up some power aswell!

Yup, in these videos i gave the gold tee mod. The small gurgles and backfires when letting off the throttle in gear is intoxicating
