My buddy and I installed an AR DP years ago on my car... What DP do you have? Do you have a garage, lift, ramps, tools? Just asking, I helped a fellow member here but he was not ready, we spend half a day buying the right tools since I didn't bring mine.

I dont trust anybody with my car except Matt More and Nick Owen of BMW El Cajon. Matt is the service advisor, pretty chill dude. he's okay with mods...to an extent when claiming warranty. Nick is the master mechanic. Nick is also the regional VP of BMW CCA and also a driving instructor. So if anybody can work and speak your car, it'll be him. He lives and breathes BMW.

Can anyone recommend a good body shop near Mission Beach 92109?

Insurance is paying so I want a quality job. Truth be told, if I can get a paint correction out of it, I'd be ecstatic.

Wow sorry to see that bro. Scary to see how similar it is to what happened to my car when I bought it, although I don't know what happened to mine, your fender was saved though, but for some reason the insurance estimator had an estimate of 17,500?... and they wrote off the car and i bought it in the insurance auto auctions up in Anaheim brought her home total cost for me to repair it myself in my own garage was just over 1,300 lol, how did your oil cooler take it cause i think that's why they wrote mine off mine was sheared in half. Since insurance is covering your car I have had really great experience with penske collision off of balboa thats what BMW recommended to me. They are expensive because they use top quality everything so I wouldn't go there if it was out of pocket, new bumper cover and some filling and paintwork on my e46 after i was rear ended was over 4 grand and the damage was minor. They are super professional and they do phenomenal paint with zero orange peel and they detailed my entire car so they are good in my book.

Hello San Diego BMW fans. I am new to the site and look forward to meeting some of you in the future. I have a 2008 335i sedan that just hit 100k miles and the CPO warranty ended. The car is completely stock with the exception of tint and I am looking forward to a few modifications.

I am mainly planning on performance bolt ons but as this is my daily driver I won't be going too crazy. Am leaning towards a JB4 or Cobb to start as it seems that most on here are leaning away from the piggyback ecu tune.

Anyhow, great site and thanks for all the info everyone posts about their cars.

Anyone E90 pre-lci'ers in the La Jolla or Sabre Springs area with Mtec V3, Mtec V4, Lux v5.2, or Lux v6 AE installed? My OEM just burnt out so it's a great time to upgrade. I've narrowed it down to these but wanted to see them in person as pictures can be deceiving.

I'd figured I'd ask...TIA!
