Hey Joe here. Joined the site about October '10 after I got my '06 330xi. 1st BMW and not sure I could ever drive anything else. I haven't done any mods yet. It's got just about everything. I just ordered the Spec.Doc. That's it!

Spec dock is for the iPhone integration. They have a few different options depending on the setup. I went with the ashtray. 2point5.com

Yeah, I test drove a car there, guy seemed nice enough, but then I did my research on them and they appear to buy lots and lots of lemons and then resell them.

@autoaesthetica: I don't really have any pics...I don't like the wheels that are on it. I think they're 159's. I'll hopefully take some pics once I upgrade it with 189's.

@AMASIAN: They are expensive, it's probably the same as you saw. My setup is about $150. But for me it will be worth it. I stream XM from my iPhone and I have podcasts and stuff. I don't listen to radio or CD's much. 99% is something through the phone. So to just be able to pop it in and out of a dock is ideal. Plus the audio out of the bottom multi-function connection is better than the headphone connection. Right now I'm plugging it into my armrest. It's a pain in and out, and if I got a passenger it's a PITA asking them to move.

Love the 189s. I am a huge fan of less spoke style wheels(though some of the most gorgeous cars are set off by multispoke lol).

As far as OEM wheels go, I really like the 189's too so I was never in a big rush to change em. But about a month ago I saw Linea Corsa 818's for the first time and it was game over.

I actually just got my Joy Factory iPad mount. It works really well, looks very clean and found a website that had the best price anywhere!

I bought a ModMyNav kit but it was absolute garbage. I've returned it and am expecting my refund today. So this is my contingency plan in effect. No rearview camera but I bought it more for the long drive entertainment...

There is an SCCA Autocross this weekend on the 8th at ECC North campus.

Quote:
What better way to celebrate Mother's day than to bring her to a nice automotive celebration! Don't worry, we'll take care of her while you are at your work assignment. I'm sure there are plenty of people that would be willing to give her a ride and show her how it's done. That way, we can all have a good time!

The SCCA's return to Erie Community College - North Campus on Sunday will be a glorious one filled with fun and festivities. It's a decently sized lot with good pavement, and with Jeremy's Grill & BBQ services on site, no one should go hungry either.

Mother's get $10 Off Registration!!!!!
