Bulky and heavy the e46 M3 muffler is; ideally I plan to offest the weight with a carbon fiber trunk lid if I deam it necessary, regardless I love the way the e46 m3 sounds in it's stock form. I never cared much for the e46's body style, the E36's style destroys it imo.

Anyway, for anyone looking at a catted header option the stock s54 headers possess a total of (2) 200 cell catalytic converters, 1 per bank, as opposed to our stock n52 catalytic converters which are comprised of (2) 400 cell catalytic converters. This pertains to S54 engine equipped vehicles distributed throughout the US only I believe. Long tube headers plus less restrictive 200 cell catalytic converters.
