Arrow How to code base to hifi 2012 CIC

Does anyone know how to code the base Audio to the Hifi option so you get a de-equalised low level input .

I have a 2012 e93 with CIC and installed an Audison / focal system but it still doesn’t sound that great and I feel this coding is essential to make it sound how it should .

I can’t find a clear set of instructions anywhere

More modules to code in a Nav/idrive read he whole thread above .
You will need an ICOM cable to code Most Bus modules on cars made
after 3/07 (that's the closest date where its clear)

There is both a coding and idrive subforum here on e90post.

And also a stereo sub forum

Are you sure?

To echo what ctuna said, from what I understand, you'll need ICOM for anything on the MOST bus.

Someone in my city just reached out to ask if I had an ICOM cable for this very reason. He tried coding (or updating, can't remember) a module using DCAN on MOST bus and ran into issues.

I have no firsthand experience to offer here, but after hearing from him I did a little digging and what I read seemed to confirm this.

Have you done any coding or updating using DCAN for MOST modules? If so, any resources you can provide are appreciated, as I'll forward them onto him.

Thx

there is problem with LCI Radio units and MASK units that they cannot be coded using cheap DCAN cables
but MULF2, TCU and COMBOX perfectly coded over OBD interface while they do not always have DCAN connection to car buses, only MOST
in that case headunit is acting as a DCAN-MOST gateway, translating packets between buses
this is why we usually see in INPA identify job such virtual module as MOST-GW.
