this is just me guys...personally the rear looks fine to me, there's no need for any mods there. even if i want to, i'd rather spend the money buying cf or normal CSL boot instead of the roof and trunk spoilers

yeah, i've debated the rear roof spoiler for awhile. Just haven't taken the plunge yet. Still dunno.

i think if you spring for the carbon fiber OEM spoiler you need a roof spoiler just to complete the look. If you have a regular OEM spoiler its not too agressive, so it can stand alone. i dunno, just a roof spoiler looks a little off to me.

I like both too, in fact, I've got both en route from eBay purchases. I ordered a replica OEM spoiler about a month ago, but when it arrived, the tip on the passenger side was all scratched up. So, I took some photos, contacted the seller, and he's sending me a new one (after filing a shipping insurance claim with FedEx)

The ACS replica roof spoiler shipped yesterday from Taiwan. Can't wait!

Minor mods so far include 38% tint on the rear windows and rear windshield (front window tinting is illegal here), and ACS aluminum pedals.

Some side-by-side pics of ACS-style roof spoiler only setup and roof and deck spoiler setup. As you can see, the ACS-style roof spoiler, really is a very subtle piece and blends in nicely with the roof line. I don't think it stands out enough to be a polarizing issue...it's good company for the shark fin.

The roof spoiler looks better with the rear spoiler added. IMO.

Rear spoiler by itself = yes
Roof spoiler by itself = no

FORM follows FUNCTION.

Question I always ask myself before I ADD anything to my car is this. "Does it improve performance?"

Second question I ask is, what is the "cost vs. benefit?"

What does the roof spoiler supposed to do anyhow?

+1

it really has no value asides from it changes the look of the car ... i took the roof spoiler simply cause it completed the look of the car in my opinion. i didn't get thinking i would get my HP or aerodynamics as much i wish i did.

it simply comes down to different tastes.
