M1 Southbound today

So who got caught up on the M1 Southbound, between Junction 16 & 15 today?

It must have happened second before I arrived, because I came to a standstill at 06.35 and didn't move again until 11.45!!! Although I couldn't see the incident in detail (nor would I have wanted to), I could see all the flashing lights and the Air ambulance landing etc.

The poor old lorry driver was apparently being cut out of his cab for 4 hours or something . Not good and I hope anyone involved was OK.

Not sure what happened, but neither the lorry or the Suzuki (sh!t box) were in a good way at all

Wow that doesn't sound good at all. I hope she comes out of it fine.

It truly was awful to see the aftermath

Thank goodness the old lady had the sense to get out the car and stand on the embankment. So often you see people sat in their cars

An unusual profession for a 21 year old girl, but I wish her a speedy and full recovery.

Obviously not knowing the circumstances, but seems maybe she fainted, had a seizure or something to swerve accross the road.
