E92 LCI Converstion...anyone try it?
The hood, bumper, and headlights would be needed. I'm sure there would be some coding required as well.
Does anyone know what else? Anyone try it? |

I think there's been a few people who have done it. Coding would be pretty easy.
It's just a matter of how much it costs. Also keep in mind that the kidneys need to be replaced as well.

And when it comes to costs, the kidneys are probably the least of my worries. |

Yep. The hood and bumper aren't that bad - used authentic M Sport LCI bumpers are actually cheaper than used pre-LCI reps. The headlights are what give your wallet a good beating.

Full LCI CONVERSION front & back Front consisted of hood, headlights and bumper replacement along with inside plastics for m sport also did 335is style fog scoops. Lci rear with performance diffuser. Now I'm currently working on the headliner and vinyling...also haven't coded the headlights yet but I will soon just been so busy |

Nothing beats OEM, the look of the LCI is so beautiful and it will age well down the road. I'll keep this car and hand it down to my bro when I upgrade to another |

Honestly I love the looks of the E9X. From the rear with LCI tails I think it looks better than the new F3X's, and even newer (a guy in a 535 thought my car was a 13 and it's an 09). But the headlights on the E9X pre lci are the ONLY thing that makes it seem dated IMO. Looking forward to pics! |

So your headlights work 100% without coding? Assuming you get some sort of error code.. |

Angel eyes work, but when turning on xenon it starts to flicker & only one side xenon works at the moment.
Both led indicators work. Passenger side is way too bright than the driver side orange led turn signal Both will be coded accordingly |

Also, could you specify the plastic pieces that were needed for the bumper to fit? |
