Hey, I'm having trouble getting solid info on enabling BMW Apps/ConnectedDrive on my car. It's a 2011 335i, last 7 are E577412, my production date is 2010-12-12.

I have the following options:

S645	BMW US Radio
S620	Voice Control
S6AA    BMW TeleServices
S655	Satellite Tuneir
S615	Extended BMW Online Information
S6FL	USB/Audio Interface
S6VC    Control, Combox
S609	Navigation System Professional
S6UH    Traffic Information
S697	Area-Code 1 For DVD
S688	Harman/Kardon Surround Sound System
S639	Preparation F Mobile Phone Cpl. USA/CDN
S6AB    Control, Teleservices

I'm wondering what the process is. I see some people can just add 6NF to their VO, but after a certain CIC version BMW added an FSC lock. I also see that their is a CIC patch that lets you create your own FSC codes, but I'm not clear if that would work for this. If anyone could point me in the right direction that would be awesome!

run NCS Expert and read the CiC and check if the c08 changes to c1a, if so you can patch the cic and do fsc, if not im not sure, you can try adding to the vehicle order and see of it will work.

Yeah you need two things combox(which you have) and a cic version that has connected drive apps. Find out which version you have. IF you dont have it, see if you can find someone with an ICOM and update to C1A - then you can patch.

Years after i started doing this and updating to a combox i still dont have connected drive apps. i have Ver c08
